Join the Backcountry Militia and other groups for our 239th anniversary encampment. Learn about the men who helped win the Battle of Kings Mountain. Come and enjoy demonstrations such as cooking, 18th-century medicine, children’s militia drill, and much more. Weapons demonstrations will be held throughout this event.
Guided lantern tours will be held on the battlefield Saturday, Oct 5 from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Reservations are required for the lantern tour; please call 864-936-7921 for reservations or stop in.
