Mosquito Logo

Mosquito season is here, and the City of Gaffney will be working to control mosquitos. The City Streets Department will begin spraying within the public streets in May (weather permitting) and will continue through October, to mitigate mosquito-borne illness. The City vehicles will be clearly marked, and the spray times will typically occur in the evening from dusk until approximately 11:00 P.M.

If you have questions, or if you have honeybees and do not want the area sprayed near your bee hives, please contact Barry Bundy (Assistant Streets Director) at (864) 487-8510.
