 Potters on Gaffney's Old Field Pottery Show and Sale  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Cherokee County History and Arts Museum,  301 College Drive

Annual pottery show and sale returns on the historic mustering grounds of the South Carolina militia at the Cherokee County History and Arts Museum.  $5 per person/$3 under 12.  Entrance fee also includes museum admission and pirate exhibit.                                                         

Tickets to the Cherokee County History & Arts Museum's Swashbuckler's Soiree are on sale today.  The Soiree, which will be held from 7:00pm to 11:00pm on Saturday, June 1, will close the Pirates, Privateers, and Buccaneers exhibit* in true pirate fashion.  Only one-hundred tickets are available due to space limitations so call 864-489-3988 to get yours today (21 and over only).

This event is a fundraiser for the Cherokee Historical & Preservation Society, Inc. and its mission to preserve regional history and cultural heritage.

*Interpretive panels developed by the South Carolina State Museum.  Exhibit features components provided by the Schiele Museum of Natural History.
